I read a really cool meme over at For the Love of Peas and Monkeys today and since I have nothing interesting to write, I thought I would play along. It’s super simple: go to Wikipedia and input your birthday (just month and date). Then write down 3 events, 2 births and 1 holiday that you share your birthday with.
Here are mine for November 19:
Events:
1863 - American Civil War: Union President Abraham Lincoln delivers the Gettysburg Address at the military cemetery dedication ceremony in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
1954 - Sammy Davis, Jr., loses his left eye in an automobile accident in San Bernardino, California. (Am I the only one who didn’t know he lost an eye?)
1990 - Pop group Milli Vanilli are stripped of their Grammy Award because the duo did not sing at all on the Girl You Know It’s True album. Session musicians had provided all the vocals. (Embarrassingly I actually saw Milli Vanilli in concert - they opened for New Kids on the Block if my memory serves me right.)

1961 - Meg Ryan, American actress
1997 - McCaughey septuplets, world’s first surviving set of septuplets
Holiday:
United States - Equal Opportunity Day
